This morning I spent 2 hours crocheting this and listened to my neighbour playing the piano at the same time. :-)

A friend once asked me, "why do you bother to spend time making stuffs for others?" Well, I don't see it as a waste of time (or materials) at all. Every sewing project is a great chance for me to practise my sewing skill, don't you think so? :-)


Fabric from Ikea.

I bought some nice fabrics from Ikea during my trip back to Singapore last month and I used one of them to make this bag.

I'll be back to Singapore this week, so I've been busy making gifts for everyone back home.



The fabric corsage that goes with the bag.

Hand sewn embroidery at the front and back of the bag.


The bag can be expanded by unfastening the snap buttons by the sides.


It also comes with a crocheted latch, and an inner pocket for cards or mobile phone.
